MOOC description
This MOOC will introduce you to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Through readings, video, discussion and interactive activities, you will be encouraged to investigate the context of the goals, as well as their potential to bring about positive global change.

Technologies used
A variety of technologies will be used throughout this MOOC. In addition to Weebly being used as the online platform, Padlet, Create Debate, Board800 and other links to external sites will also be utilized.
Facilitators
Anna Maria Ferraro Orfeo, Angela DeMeester and Charlie Berger will facilitate this course. We will provide links to resources you may wish to explore, post discussion forums and offer feedback to participants. We encourage participants to post resources, discussion forums and offer feedback to other participants as well.
How this MOOC works
While we have provided two specific learning outcomes (see My MOOC Goals), the pathways for achieving these goals are diverse and may be different for each participant. For example, you may wish to explore the content through video, readings, discussion boards or a combination. You may also wish to explore all of the Millennium Development Goals or focus your attention on one or two specific goals, it is completely up to you.
As we want to learn from the experiences and knowledge of other participants in the course, you are encouraged to participate in the various discussion forums.
A debate will be used as our culminating activity in order for you to apply your knowledge and share your opinions.
